Canadian National Festival with Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong
A magical Canadian Festival! More than 300 people from all over Canada attended our national gathering and had the immense good fortune to receive Wisdom Buddha Je Tsongkhapa empowerment from Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong, General Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition.
We received sublime teachings on the Request to the Holy Spiritual Guide Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche from his Faithful Disciples. This blessed prayer is taking those who engage in it wholeheartedly on a journey to generate an ocean of faith: the special Buddhist faith of the New Kadampa Tradition, recognizing our Spiritual Guide correctly as Guru Sumati Buddha Heruka. Gen-la encouraged us to try to appear our Spiritual Guide again and again at our heart or in front of us. She explained there is no need to suffer, all we need to do is to turn to our Spiritual Guide.
