Day 6 - Thank you
What a truly wonderful festival it has been. There was something magical and profound about how Gen-la Dekyong's teachings gradually built refuge in our minds. The refuge vows ceremony marked the pinnacle of the festival, providing an opportunity to express and refine the special dedications and promises arising in our hearts.
It really was a spiritual holiday - a respite from ordinary life and concerns. In the pure world of the festival, we had qualified teachers, sincere fellow practitioners, and work for Dharma, all united. In this environment, our spiritual life and aspirations could grow, and we found ourselves transcending our limited sense of self. Now, as we return to our homes across the globe, we carry with us blessings and pure intentions.
Our thanks to you, Venerable Geshe-la, for everything you have given and continue to give. It's extraordinary to witness the festivals becoming stronger with each passing year. As Gen-la Dekyong helped us understand, you are truly with us, and we will never forget you!
