This year at the Canadian National Festival 2023 attendees received the Blessing Empowerment of Buddha Avalokiteshvara and teachings on compassion with Gen Kelsang Samten. The Festival was hosted by KMC Canada. Gen Samten taught on how to increase love, compassion, and bodhichitta using the practice of the eleven main ways of helping others as presented by Arya Asanga.
The temple is full of dedicated practitioners from around the world meditating in two final sessions on deepening our mind of compassion until it transforms into the compassion of a Buddha. In this way we awaken our Buddha nature - wishing to attain Enlightenment for all living beings.
