Bubbles of Joy ~ A Heartwarming Family Retreat at the Mother Center
During the recent UK bank holiday, the Manjushri KMC Family Weekend in the scenic Lake District offered a memorable experience for all who attended. With a theme focused on "Overcoming Worry" the event, aimed to teach children this important life skill while bringing families together to bond and have fun.
Led by Gen Kelsang Dragden and assisted by Gen Kelsang Drolkar, Kika and Joe. The families participated in various activities like drama, art, and outdoor games, all designed to help children maintain a positive mind and learn to overcome worry, even when facing challenges. Both parents and children enjoyed the benefits of moments of peace through meditation, which further reinforced the weekend's theme.
Set on 70 acres of beautiful lawns, woods, and beaches along Morecambe Bay, Manjushri KMC. The Historic House and Kadampa Buddhist Temple for World Peace made it an unforgettable setting for families to come together and create precious memories.
