A joyful Celebration in France

Last weekend saw the annual French Dharma Celebration at which Gen Eupame, the National Spiritual Director of France, granted the empowerment of Avalokiteshvara, the Buddha of compassion, and gave truly inspiring teachings on Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche's book The Mirror of Dharma.

The weekend was preceded by a community spring clean of the chateau at KMC France, a busy but very joyful occasion.

The teachings and empowerment were given by Gen Eupame and the meditations were led by Kelsang Sangye, the Resident Teacher at KMC Toulouse.

Over 200 people gathered at the center for the weekend, which in itself was a source of great joy for everyone. After such a long period of restrictions it felt very liberating to be able to gather openly again.

It was a family occasion with plenty of activities for the children including their own meditation class and an exhilarating Easter egg hunt!
