News from KMC Granada

On October 8, Tara Day, Tara KBC in Granada, Spain became KMC Granada. The new center also has a new Resident Teacher, Gen Kelsang Dewang.

New Resident Teacher

"Wonderful news, Gen Kelsang Dewang is the new Resident Teacher at the new KMC Granada

"Gen Kelsang Dewang is one of the most senior teachers in the New Kadampa Tradition. She is the editor and translator of all Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche’s books in Spanish.

"Gen Dewang has been Venerable Geshe-la’s assistant for more than 40 years and is well known for her good heart and loving kindness.

"We are very fortunate to have such a qualified Teacher at KMC Granada."

Program of teachings

"Venerable Geshe-la has requested Gen Dewang to teach first Introduction to Buddhism and then in the future to teach Joyful Path of Good Fortune and gradually the other books one by one.

"Gen Dewang will be teaching every Thursday at KMC Granada. Her first class was completely full with over 45 people attending.
