This last weekend the Southwest Dharma Celebration was held at the International Kadampa Retreat Center Grand Canyon.

Gen Kelsang Rigpa,  Western US National Spiritual Director and the Resident Teacher at KMC Los Angeles, granted the blessing empowerment of Buddha Maitreya, the enlightened manifestation of pure love, and gave teachings on 'Love and Life’s Purpose.'

The introduction was given by Kadam Lucy James the Resident Teacher at KMC Colorado, the meditations were guided by Gen Kelsang Wangpo the Resident Teacher at KMC Houston and the retreat was led by Gen Kelsang Menla, Resident Teacher at KMC Texas.

Over 100 people attended from the Southwest both online and in-person.
