A new urban Temple is being built in Sevilla, Spain - the first to be built in this Andalusian city since Kadam Dharma was first introduced there in 1993. It is located in the Triana district, a historic area famed for flamenco, bars and parks, next to the Guadalquivir River.
The Temple will include a meditation hall of 132 sqm and a large shop and World Peace Café. Overall, the site covers 400 sqm.
The Resident Teacher Gen Kelsang Rabjor, who previously taught in Barcelona for 16 years, is helping with the construction while giving teachings, presiding over pujas and much else in the emerging space.
Construction started in July 2020, and we hope to inaugurate the Temple in September. At this stage everything is progressing thanks to the work of volunteers from different countries and the Sevilla sangha.
