Health, happiness & wisdom in Georgia

Last Saturday the fortunate students of KMC Georgia in Atlanta received the empowerment and commentary to the practice of Buddha Amitayus from their Resident Teacher Gen Kelsang Norden.

Gen Norden taught how through receiving this empowerment and engaging in the meditation practices associated with Buddha Amitayus we can learn to increase our own lifespan, wisdom, and merit. Through doing so we can swiftly complete the spiritual path for the benefit of ourselves and others.

During the event, the meditations were led by Kadampa Teachers Bonita McCay and Melanie Boyd.

On Saturday 20, there will be a brief retreat on the practice led by Gen Norden combined with a Q & A session.

With their Northern Alabama Branch class back in business through live-streaming, the center is looking forward to benefiting an increasing number of people. Visit the center website for more information.
