This weekend the people of Portugal enjoyed their annual Dharma Celebration with their National Spiritual Director, Gen Kelsang Chokga, who granted the empowerment of Buddha Avalokiteshvara and teachings online from KMC Spain.

"A large assembly participated online, and a small group attended on site at the beautiful Kadampa Temple for World Peace in Sintra..

"It was a blessed empowerment. with beautiful teachings from Gen Chokga. She transmitted Venerable Geshe-la's new commentary on the Avalokiteshvara sadhana, from The Mirror of Dharma, and then gave beautiful teachings on the powa practice.

"The meditations and retreat were guided by the Resident Teacher  at KMC Deuachen, Gen Kelsang Rigden."
