This weekend KMC Mahamudra in the magnificent city of Seville, Spain,  enjoyed their first empowerment since becoming a KMC last year. Here is what they said:

"During this special weekend we received the empowerment of Great Mother Prajnaparamita from our Resident Teacher Gen Kelsang Rabjor, the first empowerment of the new KMC.

"It was a very meaningful and radiant weekend that attracted almost a hundred people from Seville and from many other centres in Spain, including Huelva, Málaga, Cádiz, Mallorca, Barcelona, Zaragoza, Alicante, Badajoz and Granada.

"Gen Rabjor taught how important faith is for our spiritual path and how it is based on wisdom. We also learned how to recognise our inner obstructing demons or maras of our delusions, especially our self-grasping, and how to overcome them through the great kindness of our Venerable Spiritual Guide inseparable from the Great Mother.

"Gen Rabjor also gave a brief commentary to the Yoga of the Great Mother Prajnaparamita, which was the basis of a short but very powerful retreat.

"The event was very special - full of harmony with wonderful teamwork. Everyone helped to make it run smoothly and joyfully, a powerful reminder of the beautiful Kadampa family to which we belong.

"From our hearts we thank you Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, our precious our Spiritual Guide, for everything we enjoyed. May everyone have the same good fortune."
