A Tale of Two Temples

The United States is now blessed with two traditional Kadampa Temples for World Peace.

In the previous post we featured the winter retreat currently underway in the first Temple for World Peace at KMC New York. In this post we catch up with the Mountain Retreat in the magnificent new Temple at IKRC Grand Canyon.

Entitled, Gateways to Great Bliss, The Oral Instructions of Mahamudra, this six-week retreat is the first extended retreat to take place in the new Temple.

Guided by Kadam Morten, Eastern US National Spiritual Director and Resident Teacher at KMC New York City, the aim of this retreat is to gain actual heartfelt experience of the profound and practical instructions in Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso's book, The Oral Instructions of Mahamudra, through which full enlightenment can be attained in this very life.

'This last week was probably the best thing I could have done for myself. The retreat completely rejuvenated my love and appreciation for Kadam Dharma, and especially the practice of Vajrasattva, and helped energize me for 2020.'
STEVEN

There are still opportunities to join the retreat for the coming weeks. See the Mountain Retreat web page.
