Last week's post Summer Festival retreat at Menorca IRC was called 'Abiding in the Heart' - which is a perfect description of the retreaters' experience.

Led by Gen Tonglam, National Spiritual Director for East Asia, it was at once light and profound.

Following The Oral Instructions of the Mahamudra by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, Gen Tonglam led powerful meditations, and session by session the retreaters felt they were moving forward on the path to enlightenment.

The peaceful conditions combined with keeping silence helped the meaning of Venerable Geshe-la's instructions enter and remain in the heart.
