Enjoying retreat at an International Retreat Center
NKT-IKBU currently has four International Retreat Centers - Tharpland IRC in Germany, IRC Dharma Kadam in Menorca, Kailash IRC in Switzerland, and IKRC Grand Canyon in USA - with more planned for the future.
These are all very blessed places providing ideal conditions for both short and long retreats.
You can do retreat at these centers in any one of three ways:
- Privately arranged individual retreat
- Group retreat arranged by the IRC, including post-festival retreats
- Center retreat - a group retreat arranged and managed by a center such as a KMC that hires the facilities to run their own getaway retreat
A center retreat at Kailash IRC
Here we show some photos of a recent retreat at Kailash IRC organized by Dromtonpa Center in Bern with their Resident Teacher Kadam Hélène Oester. Judging by the feedback, the Bern community found this short getaway retreat both relaxing and refreshing. In their own words:
