Medicine Buddha at KMC Paris
People were greeted by a sea of blue and gold at KMC Paris as they came to receive the blessing empowerment of Medicine Buddha. The assembly was joyful and curious to learn about this Buddha’s healing practice and how to apply it in daily life. A magnificent weekend to begin 2026!
On Saturday, 3 January, at KMC Paris, more than 100 people received Medicine Buddha empowerment from Gen Tonpa. This spiritual practice is particularly important in these troubled times when inner and outer sickness is everywhere. Our meditation room was filled to the brim, with some people attending via a video-link.
The atmosphere at the center was vibrant and joyful, and we are deeply grateful to Venerable Geshe-la who introduced us to Medicine Buddha. Thank you also to everyone who attended and helped make this event a very special start to the new year!
When the world is pervaded entirely by problems and dangers...one of the most important practices is that of Medicine Buddha.
