The first day of Spring Festival 2024 is here, with over a thousand people arriving at Manjushri Kadampa Meditation Centre from around the world. Whether we are coming for the first time or are regular attendees at International festivals, there is a sense of coming into our spiritual home. We enjoy being in a family of dedicated Kadampa practitioners, working to improve ourself and to benefit others.
Spring Festival time is here! For each NKT-IKBU International Festival, Tharpa opens a Festival Shop both online and at the Festival venue. The Shop offers a special opportunity to buy all Festival-related Tharpa products, such as books, art and sadhanas, as well as new and updated products.
The three International Festivals are precious opportunities to receive teachings and empowerments from the Gen-las, and this experience is greatly enhanced if we can spend some time after the Festival in retreat improving our understanding of the teachings and taking their meaning to heart. If you can’t make it to the NKT-IKBU International Spring Festival 2024 in person, don’t worry! You can still attend online and receive the Dorje Shugden Empowerment and profound teachings from Gen-la Kelsang Jampa.

From April 19 to 21, the NKT-IKBU Mexican National Festival 2024 was held, with Gen-la Kelsang Jampa, Deputy Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition.
Almost 400 people in person, and more than 100 people online, had the opportunity to participate in this beautiful event and receive the powerful blessings of Buddha Vajrapani. Gen-la Jampa encouraged us to become true Bodhisattvas, people who love all beings and dedicate their lives to the benefit of others.
Our precious Teacher and NKT General Spiritual Director, Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong, granted the blessing empowerment of Je Tsongkhapa to more than 170 people who came from all over Portugal and nearby countries. Everyone who gathered at the Fourth Kadampa Temple for World Peace in Sintra, Portugal, at KMC Deuachen had a wonderful opportunity to deepen their spiritual practice while enjoying a meaningful holiday.
