Hosted by KMC Buenos Aires and KMC Córdoba, two weekend courses on patience and dependent relationships were held in Argentina in September. The rural retreat in Cordoba, led by the National Spiritual Director Gen Kelsang Rinchung, and the City Centre weekend course in Buenos Aires with Gen Kelsang Atisha were both well-attended and greatly appreciated by participants.
Open days at Dharma centres are opportunities for more people to discover their local Centers. Recently KMC Wales and KMC Montreal held popular open days, enjoyed by visitors and Dharma centre students alike.
Over 80 people from Kadampa Centre’s all around Australia gathered together at KMC Australia over the weekend for our Flourishing Kadam Dharma in Australia weekend.
In mid-September, KMC France, KMC Paris, and KMC Metz hosted open door events. These centers welcomed the public with tours, guided meditations, and information about meditation classes.

In mid-September, at two different corners of the Americas, KMC Colombia and KMC Fraser Valley, Canada, organized retreats that allowed participants to step away from their usual hectic lives.
Last week at KMC Rio de Janeiro, the Resident Teacher Kelsang Chochin granted the blessing empowerment of the Great Mother Prajnaparamita and gave teachings on the practice, including a transmission of the Heart Sutra, followed by a short and beautiful retreat.
Out of his great compassion Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche always encouraged his students to offer Dharma teachings in flexible ways that are applicable to the people in their area. KMC Trois-Rivières and KMC Barcelona recently held events that helped people access Kadampa teachings and meditations.
Kadam Dharma teachings were first given in 2013 in Chile. Starting in Santiago, Dharma is now flourishing and teachings are now being given in other regions.
