Last weekend, Gen Kelsang Tonglam, National Spiritual Director for East Asia, granted the blessing empowerment of Buddha Manjushri at the East Asian Dharma Celebration. Kadam Dianna, Huang Yihong and Li Yingzi guided the meditations.

At this special event hosted by Kadampa Meditation Center Stockholm Gen-la Thubten granted the empowerment of Buddha Maitreya who is the embodiment of the loving kindness of all the Buddhas and taught methods to develop and increase our loving kindness through developing our wisdom.

The Southern Dharma Celebration 2023 was held at KMC North Carolina in Charlotte where Kadampas from North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia gathered to receive Je Tsongkhapa empowerment and teachings on Guru Sumati Buddha Heruka practice from Eastern National Spiritual Director and Resident Teacher of KMC New York City, Kadam Morten Clausen.
In a converted shipping container next to the Kadampa Art Studio at Manjushri KMC, two skilled Kadampa artists are quietly manufacturing a prototype of the next generation of statues, which will be made of metal rather than polyurethane.Â
Recently the sangha at the newly emerging Kadampa center in Israel gathered for their third out-of-town retreat in a peaceful rural location. Their Teacher Daniel Koren guided meditations on the practice of patience as presented by Shantideva based on Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche’s book ‘Meaningful to Behold’.
Compassion & purification is the subject of this year’s French National Festival. Gen-la Jampa, Deputy Spiritual Director of NKT-IKBU and resident teacher at IKRC Grand Canyon will grant an empowerment (blessing transmission) of Thousand-Armed Avalokiteshvara.

Around 200 people gathered at Phoenix Art Museum this week for a transformative evening with Gen-la Kelsang Jampa, Resident Teacher at IKRC Grand Canyon and Deputy Spiritual Director of NKT. Gen-la shared practical advice from Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche in the teaching: “If you want to be happy, you need to develop a peaceful mind; if you want to make others happy, you need to cherish them.”
