MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE LATEST VERSION OF ZOOM INSTALLED
All sessions will be streamed through Zoom. So you will need to have Zoom installed on the device with which you want to view the sessions. Install the latest version of ZOOM here.
If you already have Zoom installed, when you click on each link the session will automatically open at the appropriate time.
If you do not have Zoom installed YOU WILL HAVE TO INSTALL ZOOM ON YOUR DEVICE before you can view the live sessions. We recommend you do this and test it as soon as possible.
To see if you have Zoom installed, follow this link. If you do not, this link will give you an option of downloading the app: zoom.us/test
Once Zoom is installed you simply need to click on the link for each session in your Link E-mail and it will open in Zoom for you.
We hope that your online Fall Festival experience will be smooth, however we recognise that sometimes you may experience some problems.
This troubleshooting guide offers help for some of the most common issues. If you have further questions see the bottom of this section for further help options.
The video or audio quality in ZOOM are low or keeps dropping out
On a mobile device, move to an area with a better connection to see if this helps. On PCs, try with a wired Ethernet connection, if possible. Otherwise, get close to the local router and use the 5GHz connection — it’s faster and (typically) less congested.
HD video is triggered when the zoom player is in full screen mode. If you connection isn’t strong enough for HD video try watching in a smaller window.
You might get a better connection when watching on a different device because of the differences in network devices.
I can’t see the translation options inside zoom
If you do not see this button please check you are running the most recent version of zoom as some older versions do not support the translation feature.

The International Fall Festival is organised by the New Kadampa Tradition - International Kadampa Buddhist Union (NKT-IKBU). Registered charity 1015054.
The profits from this Festival support the activities of the International Temples Project (ITP), a global charitable project founded by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche.
The ITP aims to introduce the Buddhist faith and practice of the New Kadampa Tradition publicly, and to exemplify contemporary Buddhist practice through service to the public.
Its scope and activities are constantly evolving in response to the needs of the ever-changing demands of busy lives. It presently achieves its aim through developing and building traditional and non-traditional temples and meditation and retreat centres, and through the activities of World Peace Cafés and Tharpa Publications.
