Dharma for Everyday life
From Indiana, Fort Collins and Campinas to Athens and Nantes, recent events have shown the practical side of Dharma: how meditation and Buddhist wisdom can meet us in daily life. Teachings on anger and loss, overcoming feelings of being overwhelmed, retreats, public talks, family activities, and community gatherings all point to the same possibility: that spiritual practice is not separate from our daily experience.

Celebrating a New Home for KMC Nantes
On Sunday, 4 October, the KMC Nantes Sangha gathered to celebrate Offering to the Spiritual Guide for the first time at our new venue, led by Alexandre Onnée, our Resident Teacher.
What a joy and what a sense of gratitude to now be able to gather in this 334 m² center, which has such incredible potential! As disciples of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, we are delighted to continue his work by helping Dharma to flourish and contributing to spreading peace throughout our region and far beyond.

A Month of Special Activities
September at KMC Campinas, Brazil began with Vajrayogini self-initiation, followed by a children’s class on What is Buddhism. Afterwards, we had our Refuge Retreat week, which began with Refuge Vows and included a special Offering to the Spiritual Guide puja on Buddha’s Return from Heaven Day. We also enjoyed a visit from the Resident Teacher of the Americana branch and a meditation course for senior citizens at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP).
May Dharma flourish forevermore!
A joyful gathering in Athens for the healing blessings of Medicine Buddha
A Weekend of Healing
Medicine Buddha Empowerment in Greece
Earlier this month, a joyful assembly of Athenians came together to receive the healing blessings of Medicine Buddha through Gen Kelsang Ananda, the NKT National Spiritual Director for Germany, Slovenia, Romania & Czech Republic.
Preparations began on Thursday with a hands-on Torma-making workshop and continued with shrine set-up on Friday morning. The weekend kicked off with a Friday evening public talk, Healing Starts in the Mind. Having understood the benefits of entering internal paths to deep healing, many developed the wish to receive the empowering blessings of Medicine Buddha the following day.
A guided meditation, the actual empowerment, a commentary to the practice of Medicine Buddha, and powerful Wishfulfilling Jewel prayers made for an unforgettable day, preparing us for two Sunday morning sessions of Medicine Buddha Sadhana practice.
A hearty Mediterranean lunch with Gen Ananda concluded this beautiful and truly uplifting weekend.
