Northern Spain Dharma Celebration 2026
More than 200 people gathered to enjoy this special celebration with our beloved National Spiritual Director, Gen Kelsang Chokga at KMC Barcelona.
The heart of the event was the blessing empowerment of Buddha Vajrasattva, granted by National Spiritual Director Gen Kelsang Chokga. Through her clear and inspiring teachings, participants received practical methods for purifying the mind, overcoming obstacles, and developing a deep experience of inner peace.
This special event was a joyful collaboration between several Kadampa centers in Spain. Gen Kelsang Ganden, Resident Teacher of KMC Alicante, guided the introductory session, helping everyone prepare their minds for the week ahead. Daily meditations were skilfully guided by Tereza Mulova, Resident Teacher of Bodhisattva KBC, creating a peaceful and focused atmosphere throughout the event.

Teachings & Empowerment with Gen Chokga
Retreat guided by Gen Kelsang Lochani
Following the empowerment and teachings, participants enjoyed a post-event retreat guided by Gen Kelsang Lochani, Resident Teacher of KMC Barcelona, providing a valuable opportunity to deepen their experience of purification and integrate the teachings into daily life.
Filled with blessings, meaningful teachings, volunteer activities, and joyful spiritual friendship, the week was a powerful reminder of the extraordinary kindness of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche. Deep gratitude goes to everyone who contributed to making this special event possible and helping to fulfil his compassionate vision for world peace.
