Northern Spain Dharma Celebration 2026
Jun 28, 2026
The 50th Buenos Aires International Book Fair has begun — one of the largest cultural gatherings in the publishing world, where for fifty years more than a million people have come together with a shared wish to learn, discover, and connect.
The Fair is an important meeting place for authors, readers, books, and publishers. For this reason, it is a great joy that Tharpa Argentina is participating for the first time, sharing the extraordinary books of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche. These precious books offer practical methods for finding inner peace, understanding the mind, and living with greater wisdom.
Amid the busyness of the Fair, this is a special opportunity for people to encounter something deeply meaningful and transformative. Visitors are warmly invited to discover the books of Venerable Geshe-la at the Blue Pavilion (Stand 722 of the Argentine Book Chamber, “Reading is the Future”), at La Rural Exhibition Center in Palermo.
As Venerable Geshe-la explains:
“Dharma books are the eye through which sentient beings can see the spiritual paths to liberation and enlightenment, the light that dispels the darkness of their ignorance, and the Spiritual Guide from whom they receive good advice.”

The community at Kadampa Meditation Center Córdoba gathered to connect with Avalokiteshvara, the Buddha of Compassion.
Guided by Resident Teacher, Gen Kelsang Chodzom, participants received Avalokiteshvara’s special blessings and listened to inspiring teachings on the power of compassion.
They discovered that when we remember Buddha Avalokiteshvara with sincere faith, we feel protected, because a peaceful and compassionate mind is our true protection.
With joy, participants reflected on the strength of the compassionate mind — not a state of sadness or helplessness, but a wise way of understanding reality that gives us the inner strength to become better people and genuinely help others.
More than 200 people came together at KMC Barcelona for the 2026 Northern Dharma Celebration to study, meditate, and share the spiritual path as a community.
