Mexican National Festival & East Asian Dharma Celebration

Dharma practitioners gathered in Mexico and Hong Kong for deeply inspiring Celebrations centered on Buddha Vajrasattva. Through blessing empowerments, teachings on karma and purification and guided meditations, participants strengthened their confidence in spiritual practice, purified negativities, and returned home with renewed inspiration to cultivate a pure mind and benefit others.

Mexican National Festival

From April 24-26, more than 500 people gathered at KMC Mexico, both in person and online, for the Mexican National Kadampa Festival 2026 with Gen-la Kelsang Kunsang. During this special weekend, participants received the blessing empowerment of Buddha Vajrasattva, the Buddha of purification, and teachings on how to purify the mind. These deeply inspiring events guided everyone to create powerful causes for inner peace, not only for their own benefit but also for others.

Meditations were led by Gen Kelsang Nampur. On Saturday, participants focused on generating a pure motivation and a sincere wish to develop a pure mind. On Sunday, they engaged in a purification session using the sadhana Meditation and Recitation of Solitary Vajrasattva.

During the teachings, Gen-la Kunsang encouraged everyone to trust their potential, develop wisdom, and deepen their understanding of karma. She emphasized that all our actions leave imprints on the mind that will ripen in the future, and that understanding karma empowers us to create the causes of happiness and avoid suffering.

Practitioners from across Mexico, as well as Colombia, Peru, and Argentina, came together for this meaningful event. Everyone returned home inspired, peaceful, and with a strong determination to continue cultivating a pure mind and benefiting others.

East Asian Dharma Celebration in Hong Kong

Around 150 people attended the East Asian Dharma Celebration at KMC Hong Kong. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Gen Kelsang Tonglam for granting the blessing empowerment of Buddha Vajrasattva, and for giving teachings on karma, purification, and a commentary to the practice of Vajrasattva.

We extend our thanks to Kadampa Teacher Dianna Lau for the introduction, Kelsang Dachog for guiding the meditations, the English and Mandarin translators, and all the kind volunteers who made this event possible.
