UK DHARMA CELEBRATION 2025 at TARA IKRC

Last weekend we had the UK Dharma Celebration 2025. Held in the beautiful new Meditation Hall at Tara International Kadampa Retreat Centre, it brought together our beloved Kadampa family from every corner of the UK, all united in faith, harmony and a shared wish for peace and Dharma to flourish.

The empowerment of Buddha Vajrapani, granted by our National Spiritual Director, Kadam Bridget Heyes, was a magical experience. Through her clear and gentle guidance, we were able to connect with the inspiring qualities of Buddha Vajrapani — developing a genuine feeling of inner strength and confidence to overcome our obstacles and progress on the spiritual path.

The teachings highlighted the way to develop real, authentic self-confidence — not through pride or external achievements, but by cultivating genuine compassion for others.

As the Celebration came to a close, many of us felt renewed — inspired to continue our practice with more confidence, energy, and joy. The weekend strengthened not only our faith in the teachings, but also our confidence in our own potential for spiritual power, wisdom and compassion.
