Profoundly Peaceful weekend Retreats
A retreat can be a deeply moving experience, providing an opportunity to find inner peace, gain profound insights and energize our practice. It can help us return to our normal lives with a fresh outlook and a renewed sense of purpose. Here, retreats in Northants (UK), Cordoba (Argentina) and Ottawa (Canada).

Finding the Peace Within: A Transformative Retreat in Córdoba
Last weekend, more than 30 people participated in a deep concentration retreat in Allende (Córdoba), Argentina, with Kelsang Chodzom, Resident Teacher at KMC Cordoba. We had the opportunity to connect with the peaceful nature of our mind, enjoy a beautiful, quiet place, and share, read and contemplate.
Thank you, Geshe-la! May everyone experience true happiness.
AWAY RETREAT WITH GEN THEKCHEN IN CANTLEY, QUÉBEC
This weekend, we held a wonderful away retreat led by Gen Thekchen in the inviting forested surroundings at the lovely Manoir de la Forêt in Cantley, Québec. In this serene and very peaceful environment, it was very easy to gather inward and focus on profound guided meditations for an extended period of several days.
Gen Thekchen guided us very skillfully through Geshe Kelsang Gyatso's exquisitely clear commentary on Buddha's teachings on the ultimate nature of reality—profound emptiness, the lack of inherent existence of all phenomena—which some have described as having the uplifting effect of the most beautiful music imaginable.
Many who attended would agree. Although some in our group were new to these teachings and to meditation in general, it's fair to say we all gained some level of understanding and practical experience of these sublime teachings.
Thank you especially to Gen Thekchen for your very skillful and powerful guidance, and to Kelsang Khandro, our wonderful Administrative Director at KMC Ottawa, who worked so devotedly to make this rare opportunity possible.
