Northeast US & New Zealand Dharma Celebrations 2025
The Northeast US Dharma Celebration was held at the second Kadampa Temple for World Peace with Kadam Morten and the New Zealand Dharma Celebration was held at KMC Auckland with Gen Rabten.

THE BLESSING EMPOWERMENT OF MEDICINE BUDDHA

The Northeast US Dharma Celebration was enjoyed by around 350 people in person and over 100 people online. It was an event pervaded by the kindness of others.
Venerable Geshe-la opened our precious World Peace Temple in 2006 with Medicine Buddha empowerment, and has created such unifying and inspiring events for us all to enjoy.
This weekend, Kadam Morten granted Medicine Buddha empowerment and gave practical teachings on improving our meditation practice. Through the weekend, he shared techniques and strategies to help us stay encouraged as meditators, to quiet our distractions, and how to learn to absorb into a concentrated state.
Kadam Kyle gave the introduction and Gen Khedrub led the meditations each day, and the whole event was run by another 100 or so volunteers from our various centers in the Northeast. Seeing this incredible Celebration come together through the galvanized, loving and energetic Northeast Sangha has encouraged us to believe in Venerable Geshe-la's vision of spreading Kadam Dharma throughout the world.
The title of the event was Healing the World Within - and we can see how through our collective inner peace via our meditation practice, we can create a healing in ourselves, then in our communities, and finally in our world.
NEW ZEALAND DHARMA CELEBRATION 2025
JE TSONGKHAPA EMPOWERMENT
with Gen Kelsang Rabten
People from all over New Zealand gathered together to receive Je Tsongkhapa empowerment, and essential commentary to The Request to the Lord of All Lineages prayer, the most blessed of all the Lamrim (Stages of the Path to Enlightenment) prayers. Heartfelt thank you to Gen Kelsang Rabten for such inspiring teachings.
We all benefit greatly when we gather together as Sangha and enjoy powerful blessings and meaningful conversations. Thank you, Venerable Geshe-la, for the gift of these special events.
