Celebrating Turning the Wheel of Dharma Day and the Birthday of our Spiritual Guide
Jun 4, 2026
This May Day weekend, more than 70 people joined us for a very special and profound retreat with Gen Chokga, where we explored teachings that help us look beyond what our senses perceive and towards the ultimate truth of phenomena.
We walked together in nature, shared powerful meditations, and concluded the retreat with a joyful meal celebrating Mother’s Day.
As Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche teaches:
“Although objects appear, they are mere appearances to the mind. In reality, nothing exists independently; everything depends entirely upon the mind.”
— Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, The Mirror of Dharma with Additions
Thank you to everyone who participated and offered their energy with such a good heart. Let us continue to cultivate wisdom and compassion and see beyond appearances!

This weekend, KMC Geneva and Samoudra KBC (Lausanne) had the great good fortune of co-organizing a retreat at Kailash IRC. The topic was Tasting the Inner Peace of Concentration.
The retreaters had the opportunity to visualize the form of Buddha Shakyamuni and tried to see him with their mind's eye. They also learned to navigate through the obstacles that can hinder concentration, such as mental excitement and mental sinking.
To end the retreat, Gen Kelsang Jikgyob shared some encouragement on how to apply concentration in our daily lives.
Last weekend we had a retreat in Tepoztlán, where 37 lucky attendees had the precious opportunity to meditate on the clear, lucid and peaceful nature of our own mind, enjoying the loving guidance of our dear Teacher, Gen Nampur, in a beautiful environment. We were all very happy and grateful.
