The Austrian Dharma Celebration 2025 with Gen-la Kunsang, a special event for practitioners from all over Austria and beyond, took place at KMC Austria in Vienna.

Teachings & Empowerment with Gen-la Kunsang
Gen-la Kelsang Kunsang, the National Spiritual Director for Austria, led this meaningful event with great warmth and compassion. Through her public talk Happiness in Times of Crisis and the course The Path to Happiness – 6 Practices for a Fulfilling Life, she shared profound wisdom from the teachings of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche. In particular, she explained the six perfections which lead to a happy and meaningful life for all living beings.
A particularly moving moment was the granting of the Bodhisattva Vows – a powerful step for many who chose to dedicate their lives to benefit others.
The meditations throughout the weekend were guided by our Resident Teacher in KMC Austria, Kelsang Sila, who led participants with clarity, calmness, and heartfelt connection.
Numerous practitioners from Austria, Germany, Slovenia, Croatia, and Switzerland took part in this inspiring weekend, contributing to an atmosphere of community, joy, and inner strength.
A heartfelt thank you to Gen-la Kunsang and to everyone who helped make this precious event possible. May holy Dharma flourish throughout Austria, Europe and the whole world.
