Dharma Celebrations 2025 in Germany & Switzerland
The German Dharma Celebration was held at Tharpaland KMC with Gen Ananda and the Swiss Dharma Celebration was held at Kailash IRC with Gen-la Kunsang.

THE BLESSING EMPOWERMENT OF BUDDHA SHAKYAMUNI

The German Kadampa community gathered at Tharpaland KMC this past Easter weekend for the German Dharma Celebration. It was a lovely, joyful event during which Gen Ananda granted the blessing empowerment of Buddha Shakyamuni, followed by teachings on and transmission of Venerable Geshe-la’s own inspiring commentary to the Liberating Prayer.
Between sessions, the adults enjoyed deep conversations, sunny walks, coffee and cake, and kids of all ages played in the corridors and roamed the grounds for Easter eggs. It was an amazing weekend, and people had a great time. Thank you, Venerable Geshe-la, for establishing the German Dharma Celebration!
Swiss Dharma Celebration 2025
THE BLESSING EMPOWERMENT OF MEDICINE BUDDHA
with Gen-la Kelsang Kunsang
More than 80 of the 120 expected guests managed to make it to this celebration with Gen-la Kelsang Kunsang. How lucky we are!!!!
After a delayed start to our Swiss Dharma Celebration with more than 30 hours of power and internet outages, as well as blocked roads caused by heavy snowfall, the first guests arrive. Happily, despite the adversity, we are able to kick off the Celebration with an inspiring and powerful introduction by Gen-la Kelsang Kunsang.
After the Medicine Buddha empowerment and the commentary by Gen-la Kelsang Kunsang, we begin the retreat sessions with Gen Kelsang Devi and immerse ourselves in the healing blessings of the 7 Tathagatas.
It is a wonderful opportunity to be with Sangha, wishing for ultimate peace and happiness in this world. On the final day, strengthened by blessings, we say goodbye again.
We are very much looking forward to the next Swiss, Italian & Austrian Dharma Celebration in September!!!
