Chilean Kadampas gathered at KMC Chile in Santiago for the annual Dharma Celebration with National Spiritual Director, Gen Kelsang Chokyong.

For four days, Chilean Kadampas gathered at KMC Chile in Santiago for the annual Dharma Celebration. On this occasion, National Spiritual Director Gen Kelsang Chokyong granted the 1,000-arm Avalokiteshvara empowerment.
Practitioners from the six Kadampa centers currently in Chile had the incredible good fortune to receive these powerful blessings, and to listen to, contemplate, and meditate on these precious teachings.
At this event, Gen Chokyong emphasized cultivating the mind of universal compassion and reliance on the Spiritual Guide. With great skill, humor, and inspiration, the NSD of Chile guided us through these teachings. Kelsang Khandro, Resident Teacher of KBC Sabiduría in Concepción, led the meditations, and Kelsang Sudhana, Resident Teacher of KBC Uma in Puerto Montt, led the retreat.
We are very grateful for Venerable Geshe-la's kindness in inspiring this National Celebration and for our precious Teachers and local Sangha. May Dharma flourish in Chile!
