Day 7 ~ The Blissful Path

After a wonderful, heartfelt and clear meditation with Gen Sangden we begin two days of teachings to receive the essential commentaries to the practices of Highest Yoga Tantra from Gen-la Dekyong.

In the morning we learn about the three yogas — of sleeping, rising and experiencing nectar — through which we can transform the daily cycle of sleeping and waking into self-generation practice. In the afternoon we receive an essential blessing transmission of the eleven yogas of Vajrayogini and the practice of Blissful Path, together with many special oral teachings from Venerable Geshe-la to augment our understanding and practice.

During Kadampa Festivals we make many connections that give us inspiration and friendships that benefit our whole life. These connections cross language barriers and cultures as we live, work, study, pray and meditate together. In this way we learn and grow from each other as we see the teachings being embodied in kindness, patience, generosity, respect and acceptance.

It is especially inspiring to hear that there are many people here from Sao Paulo having the best time at their first International Festival!
