Offering Our Faith

Thank you Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche

Every day, we remember the extraordinary kindness of Venerable Geshe-la, our Root Guru and Founder of the New Kadampa Tradition.

However, on the auspicious day of June 4, Buddha's turning of the Wheel of Dharma day, at Kadampa centres around the world, we offer him our faith with hearts filled with rejoicing and gratitude. We do this by using the special prayer, "Request to the Holy Spiritual Guide Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso from His Faithful Disciples," and by collecting our Guru’s name mantra in a one-day retreat.

Over a period of twenty four hours people from all parts of the globe have been engaging in retreat reciting the name mantra of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche.
