"After the opening of the 6th Kadampa Temple for World Peace in Spain, following in the footsteps of IKRC Grand Canyon, we prepared a Big Thanking Day for all those who have directly or indirectly contributed to the construction of the Temple. About 450 people attended, it was packed!

"Our welcoming committee gave them a little present, a beautiful image of the Temple in golden ink saying: “Without inner peace, outer peace is impossible” by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. Then KMC Spain's Resident Teacher Gen Kelsang Chokga thanked them all for their hard work and mentioned the patience of the neighbors who with so much love have welcomed this precious Temple at their doorstep. She gave a short and inspiring talk about the purpose of the Temple and the opportunities that lie ahead once its doors open in September.
