30 years of Kadam Dharma at KMC San Francisco
"The students at KMC San Francisco had a fantastic time celebrating our 30th Anniversary this past weekend! It was so wonderful to be together as a community again and to receive the profound blessings of the Bodhisattva Vow from Gen-la Kelsang Jampa. Below is an excerpt from one of Gen-la's teachings. 'At this virtuous birthday party, we are remembering the great kindness of our founder and holy spiritual guide, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche. We are celebrating the appearance of this precious Dharma center and community. We are deeply rejoicing in three decades of Kadam Dharma appearing for the benefit of the people in San Francisco and in the surrounding areas.
'We are also strongly wishing and praying for this pure Dharma to remain here, for this pure Dharma to remain and flourish from generation to generation. Why are we praying for this? Because we care about people. We really wish for others to enjoy the same great good fortune that we have now. We want others to have the opportunity to meet the Kadam Dharma of the wisdom Buddha Je Tsongkhapa, to have the opportunity to transform their lives into the Kadampa way of life.'
