Summer Fayre at Madhyamaka KMC

Madhyamaka KMC recently opened to the public for their annual Summer Fayre, which has been on hold in recent years. How wonderful to see the local community coming together with the Buddhist community for this joyful event,

All the fun of the Summer Fayre!

"On Sunday 27th June we welcomed approximately 1000 people throughout the day to our centre in Pocklington, York, to join in our traditional Summer Fayre. Many fun activities and great entertainment for the whole family were on offer.

"People got to see and enjoy the magnificent house and grounds with plenty of music, good food and peace inside and out.

"A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this event possible.

"Throughout the day meditation sessions were available for both adults and children. Also on offer were tours of the meditation rooms, tales of the history of the house, and a look at the a Clock tower and Stables accommodation blocks. We had moments of live music (lots of Tina Turner with “The Chordites” and more), games, treasure hunts, face painting, classic cars, an archery exhibition and of course, vegetarian barbecue and good food for everyone.
