Australians greeted the new year with their annual Festival at which Gen-la Kelsang Jampa, Deputy Spiritual Director of NKT gave the empowerment of the Wisdom Buddha Manjushri and teachings on dependent relationship.
Entitled The Wisdom that Sets Us Free, the online Festival is attended by people from across Australia, with many taking part at centres, watching on a big screen with fellow Kadampas, and many others joining online from their homes.
Everyone taking part is enjoying Gen-la's inspiring teachings along with the wonderful introduction by Gen Dornying, Resident Teacher at KMC Melbourne and KMC Australia, and the powerful meditations led by Gen Lhachog, Resident Teacher at KMC Sydney.
