The Story of Tharpa Publications

Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, the author of the books on modern Buddhism published by Tharpa Publications, explained recently that when he writes a book, the words that we see on the page first appear to his mind. They are in fact his realisations. When the meaning appears clearly to his mind he writes it down.

He then passes these words to Tharpa Publications to distribute in paper book, ebook and audiobook to people of all cultures throughout the world.

The story of Tharpa is the journey of this profound wisdom that comes from the heart of Venerable Geshe-la to the heart of each fortunate reader

Here we see the work of Tharpa Publications' mother office at Manjushri KMC, from where the books go to other Tharpa Publications around the world to be translated into many languages and distributed globally.
