Last week, Gen Kelsang Samten, Resident Teacher of KMC New York, and Kadam Lucy James, Resident Teacher of KMC Colorado, gave teachings and led meditations based on Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche’s book Ocean of Nectar.
Thanks to the hard work of the community members and volunteers, KMC Bloomington in Indiana recently moved in their new premises, with a brand new book store.
Recently, after a short retreat, Gen Kelsang Ripga, the Resdient Teacher of KMC Los Angeles, returned home to grant the empowerment and give teachings on the purification practice of Buddha Vajrasattva.
Last weekend at KMC New York City, Kadam Morten Clausen, the Resident Teacher and National Spiritual Director of NKT for Eastern USA, taught a special course entitled Bringing Everybody to the Pure Land.

This weekend, many Kadampa centers around the world took advantage of the Easter holidays to offer special events. And with Saturday being NKT Day it was also an occasion for special pujas and celebrations. Over the span of 10 weeks, 540 Kadampa from all over the world engaged in KMC New York’s first-ever virtual Winter Retreat. Thousands of hours of meditation were accumulated by the day, under the guidance of Gen Samten, who led over 140 sessions.
The International Kadampa Buddhist Union is a global spiritual family emanating from the heart of our precious Spiritual Guide, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche. One of the many advantages of this union is that because the Dharma and spiritual direction are the same for all constituent centers it is easy for them to engage in cooperative ventures.
