KMC Barcelona recently completed a wonderful purification retreat with Gen Kelsang Rabten guiding sessions from the mother center, Manjushri KMC, and Gen Lochani guiding sessions from KMC Barcelona’s retreat center.
In the first of our reports on activities over the holiday period we include courses with Gen-la Kunsang in Tharpaland Germany and Gen Tabkay in IKRC Grand Canyon, US.
The last few weeks witnessed much progress with the sixth Kadampa Temple for World Peace, from essential safety work, to rainwater drainage, to preparations for the ceiling, and the appearance of the first wall!

Last night, a community of Kadampa students gathered in the Mother Temple at Manjushri KMC for the first in-person puja since March. What a joyful and inspiring event it was!
Over the last few months, Manjushri KMC has been hard at work improving accommodation for visitors to the center, including 13 new and refurbished en-suite rooms in the main building, the Hayloft and the North Quadrangle. These developments and much more make this special place well worth a visit.
Last weekend, Spain hosted its first online Dharma Celebration! More than 400 people from all corners of Spain have participated in the event and enjoyed these precious teachings. Gen Kelsang Chokga granted the blessing empowerment of four-armed Avalokiteshvara and commentary to Avalokiteshvara sadhana and Powa ceremony.
During the 2020 French National Festival Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong, General Spiritual Director of NKT-IKBU, granted the empowerment of Buddha Shakyamuni and the commentary of The Liberating Prayer and inspiring teachings on Refuge.
Almost 200 people took part in the online German Festival this year with Gen-la Kelsang Kunsang, live-streamed from KMC Edinburgh and Tharpaland KMC.
