Day 7 ~ A Festival of Faith, Gratitude and Kindness
It’s the final day of the Festival, which finishes with two calm and focused retreat sessions enabling us to consolidate all we have received at this rich feast of Dharma.

Then through the concentration of the empowering Spiritual Guide, the blessings of Venerable Geshe-la and our own pure imagination and intentions we are created as a newly arisen Heruka Body Mandala.
Today we prepare a pure mind ready to receive the priceless jewel of the Highest Yoga Tantra empowerments into our minds. First a morning of guided meditations with Gen Mudita using the the Prayer to the Lord of all Lineages as our preliminary practice and meditating deeply on the verses that help us develop the correct Lamrim motivations of Renunciation and Bodhichitta.
It’s the first full day of Festival, a day to prepare our minds for receiving the Highest Yoga Tantra empowerments by contemplating the three principal aspects of the path of lamrim. As Gen-la Dekyong teaches us, lamrim is the essential foundation for our practice of Highest Yoga Tantra to take us quickly to enlightenment.
It’s Je Tsongkhapa Day and the first day of our dream-like International Fall Festival in Brazil. An extraordinary gathering is taking place and people are arriving from all over the world, pouring into the Festival site on buses, in cars, by taxi, on foot. At the head of the road you are greeted by the first sight of the Temple grounds, a stunning scene of a golden five tiered Temple surrounded by terraces of tents and trees.
Today the international ordained Kadampa Sangha gathered together ahead of the Fall Festival for a very special ordination ceremony with Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong.
As the Festival approaches, an increasing number of volunteers from all corners of the globe are arriving. They join forces with the Brazilian Sangha, who have been tirelessly making preparations for months, bringing an incredible sense of energy to the work teams.
People in the local area who are not attending the Fall Festival are invited to register for the International Prayers for World Peace session. This gathering offers a beautiful introduction to the Kadampa Temple for World Peace for local people.
On the last day of the International Fall Festival 2024, there will be a special opportunity to visit the new center in Rio de Janeiro. On Saturday, November 2, 2024, to celebrate the purchase of this center, Kadampas will come together for a tsog puja with Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong, the General Spiritual Director of NKT-IKBU. The World Peace Temple in Cabreúva is undergoing a profound and inspiring transformation!
