In June, two wonderful retreats were organized in Texas, US, and the town of Choachà near Bogotá, Colombia. Participants had a chance to learn about meditation while enjoying peaceful and natural environments.
Over the weekend, more than 200 people from different parts of Spain gathered at KMC Barcelona for the Northern Dharma Celebration with the National Espiritual Director of Spain and Portugal, Gen Kelsang Choga.
In October 2013, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche gave his last public teachings in Portugal. During these teachings, Geshe-la granted the empowerment of Great Mother Prajnaparamita and taught the Essence of Wisdom Sutra (Heart Sutra), which contains the heart essence of Buddha’s perfection of wisdom teachings.
During the last few weeks the 3 Kadampa Centers in Argentina held very blessed events. They were very beautiful and powerful events, which showed great unity and the desire to put Dharma into practice. There was a White Tara empowerment at KMC Argentina in Palermo, a purification retreat at KMC Cordoba and Nagarjuna KBC organized a retreat out of town in Zona Norte (Buenos Aires)

In late June at KMC Hong Kong, over 60 people attended the Tantra Workshop: Creating an Extraordinary Life. Our Resident Teacher, Gen Kelsang Tonglam, gave a clear explanation of what Tantra is and why we need to practice it, and Kelsang Dachog guided the meditations.
The month of June was very special at IKRC Grand Canyon with great events and the culmination of important outdoor projects.
