This Saturday at KMC Deuachen in Portugal, Gen Rigden granted the blessing empowerment of Buddha Maitreya to a fortunate group of Kadampa disciples both gathered in person and on-line.
This weekend, over 600 people tuned into the online weekend course at Manjushri KMC on refuge with Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong, General Spiritual Director of NKT-IKBU. On Saturday, in the Kadampa Temple for World Peace, Gen-la presided over a deeply inspiring and heartfelt Mahayana Refuge Ceremony, which was made all the more powerful by the fact that hundreds of people around the world shared in receiving the special blessings of refuge and making sincere dedications for the sake of all living beings.
After a long period of closure due to Covid, the three Kadampa centers in South Africa are beginning to open their doors and welcome back the public. But as you will see they did not waste the time they were closed.
Great news about a special event for the Nordic countries. March 19-21 Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab will teach the Nordic Kadampa Festival hosted by Nordic KMC Oslo.

IRC Menorca was founded by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche in 1981, the first Kadampa center to be established outside of the UK. 2021 marks the 40th anniversary of the center. Enjoy this inspiring video of 40 years of Kadam Dharma on the island!
