Kadampa Meditation Center Spain
The Temple is located in Kadampa Meditation Center Spain in Málaga, Spain. The center is undergoing extensive expansion, with much more accommodation and dining and other facilities being built whie the Temple is being constructed.
In the meantime, classes are being held at their urban temple in the city of Málaga.
The resident teacher
Gen Kelsang Chokga is the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Center Spain and also the National Spiritual Director for Spain and Portugal.
Gen Chokga is a Buddhist nun who has studied and practiced Kadampa Buddhism since 1998 under the guidance of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche.
Her clarity in transmitting the teachings and her caring personality make her an exemplary Kadampa practitioner.
