German Dharma Celebration 2026
On the first weekend in April, the German Sangha gathered in Tharpaland KMC for the annual German Dharma Celebration with Gen Ananda.

During this Dharma Celebration, Gen Ananda granted the blessing empowerment of Buddha Vajrasattva and gave inspiring teachings on purification practice and Sutra Mahamudra based on Ven. Geshe-la’s beautiful oral teachings on Sutra Mahamudra. During the meditation sessions, Gen Lobma (Resident Teacher of KMC Dresden) then took us all deeper into the experience this precious Kadam Dharma.

Outside of sessions and pujas, people enjoyed each other’s company and deep Dharma conversations around the property and beyond - in the cafe, in the soothing spring sunshine on the terrace and on forest walks. The kids also had a great time, quite possibly topped by the traditional easter egg hunt on Sunday during which they retrieved an estimated million chocolaty treats :)
