Gen Rigden, the resident teacher of KMC Deuachen in Sintra, is taking us on a temple tour of the hidden jewel of Portugal – the Fourth Temple for World Peace.
This past weekend marked the first retreat at Kadampa Meditation Centre México, in the new custom built temple. The Resident Teacher Gen Kelsang Sangden guided four meditation sessions where the participants had the opportunity to contemplate and put into practice the fundamentals of meditation.
On April 6, more than two hundred people attended the grand opening of a brand new custom built center for Kadampa Meditation Centre México, with General Spiritual Director of NKT-IKBU, Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong.
Kadampa Meditation Center Brazil have been working with an architect to prepare a substantial plan for future constructions.
One of the major projects for 2023 is the construction of a substantial urban temple complex for Mexico City. As we can see the work is nearing completion and the temple will be opened by Gen-la Dekyong on April 6, just before the Mexican Festival.
Work at the substatial new building at Kadampa Meditation Center New York was completed this week with a community effort putting the finishing touches on.
An increasing number of people around the world are relocating to live close to a Kadampa Temple or Center.
Their wish is to be able to help the center more and, of course, take a fuller part in the spiritual program.
Designed by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche based on the holy mandala of Buddha Heruka, Kadampa Temples symbolise all the stages of the path we must accomplish to attain enlightenment for the benefit of others.
Recently, as if polishing pure refined gold, the King of Spain bestowed an architectural award on the Temple in Málaga, which was received by the architect at a special ceremony in Almeira.
