As the New Year approached Kadampas around the world gathered at their centers to celebrate the New Year with teachings, prayers and festivities.

Prayers for World Peace is a practice introduced by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche. It gives members of the public an opportunity to visit a Temple or center and join in prayers and meditation for world peace once a week, often on a Sunday.
