A new urban Temple is being built next to the Guadalquivir River in Sevilla, Spain. The Temple will include a meditation hall of 132 sqm, a residential area, and a large shop and World Peace Café. Overall, the site covers 400 sqm. There are many ways in which we can help with this amazing project.
Almost eight years after Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche granted the the empowerment of Great Mother Prajnaparamita to thousands of his students gathered in Portugal, the people of Portugal received it once again, this time, from their dear National Spiritual Director, Gen Kelsang Chokga.
Among the many developments since the last update, we now see the space being cleared and prepared to receive hundreds of visitors by car, bus and so forth.
Tharpaland KMC just hosted an inspiring post Spring Festival retreat, led by Gen-la Kelsang Thubten. “It was fantastic to receive a very clear and practical presentation on such a profound and unique prayer. People from all over the world had the precious opportunity to attend this beautiful course, in person or online. Gen-la’s teachings were so blessed that everyone could understand and put them into practice.”

Among all the amazing recent developments at the site of the construction of the Kadampa Temple in Málaga, some of the most noticeable were lifting a vajra and one of the exterior auspicious symbols into place as a test. Watch this and much more in the latest video.
At this time we are witnessing many Kadampa centers around the world opening to the public again after lockdowns and providing teachings, meditations and pujas in-person as well as online. Recently at KMC Albacete in Spain, Miguel Vergara, the Resident Teacher, granted the blessing empowerment of Buddha Maitreya to fortunate practicioners. Around 70 people gathered in person and on-line.
