In keeping with many other Tharpa Offices around the world, Tharpa Spain is moving its operation to be near a major Kadampa Temple for World Peace. The move to KMC Spain is presently underway while its previous home KMC Madrid, looks for a larger property.
KMC Florida is marking 10 years since it was founded by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche – ten years of spreading inner and outer peace in the Sunshine State.
Starting September 12 there is an opportunity to study Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche’s precious book The Mirror of Dharma on the Special Teacher Training Program (STTP) with Gen-la Dekyong, who received the transmission of this book directly from Venerable Geshe-la himself.
The Kadampa Art Studio at Manjushri KMC is buzzing with volunteer visitors of all ages and backgrounds helping to prepare objects for the new Temple in Málaga, the new centre in Leeds, and many other centres around the world. This summer the Studio has enjoyed the company of many young people, including recent graduates and students in their vacation weeks.
Since hosting a powerful gathering for the Summer Festival, Madhyamaka KMC in the UK has been busy hosting a number of other inspiring events.
A team of volunteers recently worked hard to prepare the Urban Temple in the city of Málaga to reopen after a long period of closure due to Covid. This is followed by a week of FREE classes and activities to welcome everyone back.
Along with many other Kadampa centers, KMC London is preparing to open its doors again to the public after a break for the summer, and in many cases much longer. The community at the Temple in Morden have been busy preparing the Temple to welcome everyone back, including major renovation work on the entrances.
Thanks to the extraordinary blessings of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, the Wheel of Kadam Dharma never ceases in this world. Just as the Summer Festival finishes, a full program of National Festivals and Dharma Celebrations arises for September.
The season of post Summer Festival retreats continues. Here we report from two retreat centers – one in the mountains of Switzerland and the other in the mountains of Montserrat Spain.
