Just 30 minutes drive from the Spring Festival site is the ancient city of Málaga, the birthplace of Pablo Picasso and gateway to the Costa del Sol. In this city steeped in history you will find ancient buildings, galleries, great shopping, every type of cafe and restaurant – and of course its own beach.
The Austrian Dharma Celebration 2022 with Gen-la Kelsang Kunsang was hosted by KMC Austria.
Last week, Gen-la Kunsang was invited to KMC Barcelona where she led a deeply moving retreat at the Montserrat retreat center. Old and and new Kadampas alike enjoyed her guided serenity as they cultivated concentrated, happy minds.
On NKT Day the community at KMC Madrid La Sierra illustrated the core values of NKT by welcoming everyone, including families and children, to their newly acquired center surrounded by the stunning Sierra de Guadarrama. Children were invited to join many games and activities including a theater performance of The Story of Aṅgulimāla. There were also workshops on malas and ecological soap, and teenagers and adults could enjoy walks in the mountains.
In the last two weeks of March, Gen Eupame, National Spiritual Director of NKT for France made two visits to the south of France to give teachings at KMC Vajravarahi in Toulouse and KMC Vajrassatva in Montpellier.
Just as the work on the copper roof nears completion, the 37 golden vajras are placed atop the Temple and the doorways are made ready for the deer and Dharma wheels to be placed in position. Watch this video and discover how important the opening of the Temple will be.
Dublin’s newest meditation space opened this weekend! It was such a wonderful weekend at the official opening of the beautiful new Tara Kadampa Meditation Centre, Templeogue Village, Dublin. Our National Spiritual Director Kadam Bridget Heyes gave such inspiring teachings and guided some beautiful meditations. We were so delighted to see friends old and new from all around Ireland drop in for the weekend.
For two weeks Gen Ananda, National Spiritual Director of NKT for Germany, travelled throughout the country giving public talks on “Buddhas Weg zum Glück” (Buddha’s path to happiness) in some major cities such as Berlin, Dresden, Munich, Stuttgart, Freiburg, Wiesbaden, Karlsruhe, Frankfurt, Essen and Hamburg.
KMC Barcelona just hosted a wonderful Open Day including Prayers for World peace for local people combined with a traditional Catalan meal. For many this was their first chance to experience Kadam Dharma
