Last Saturday, the city of Buenos Aires celebrated the Night of the Temples. Kadampa Meditation Centre Argentina participated for the third time, together with more than 80 temples of different faiths.
After many years of not being able to gather, this past weekend over 60 fortunate Kadampas met up in Wellington for the 2022 New Zealand Festival.
“We received Thousand-armed Avalokiteshvara empowerment and teachings on the precious mind of bodhichitta from our National Spiritual Director, Gen Kelsang Rabten.”
The special weekend course with Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong included everything – extraordinary teachings from Gen-la , guided meditations and retreat led by Gen-la Kunsang, a Sojong Ceremony for monks and nuns and a Pratimoksha Vow Ceremony.
Kadampa Meditation Centre Hong Kong enjoyed a fundraising walk with meditation guided by Gen Tonglam, the Resident Teacher.
Last weekend Gen-la Kelsang Thubten granted the blessing empowerment of Buddha Vajrapani and gave teachings on the power of the mind at the 2022 French Festival which was hosted by Kadampa Meditation Centre France.
Under the guidance of Kelsang Dechog from the Kadampa Art Studio in the UK, Kadampa Meditation Centre Brazil’s community are engaged in maintenance work on the roof vajras, Confession Buddhas and Heruka Mandala.
An increasing number of people around the world are relocating to live close to a Kadampa Temple or Center.
Their wish is to be able to help the center more and, of course, take a fuller part in the spiritual program.
Manjushri Kadampa Meditation Centre is thronging with hundreds of joyful people who have gathered for a special weekend with Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong, General Spritual Director of NKT- IKBU and Resident Teacher at Manjushri KMC.
National Spiritual Director for Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia, Gen Kelsang Rabten came to Kadampa Meditation Centre Australia, to grant the blessing empowerment of 1000-Armed Avalokiteshvara.
Gen Rabten also gave inspiring teachings on the precious mind of bodhichitta – the best method for bestowing happiness, eliminating suffering, and dispelling confusion.
Last weekend people gathered at Tara International Retreat Centre to receive teachings on the Four Noble Truths with Kadam Bridget Heyes, the NKT-IKBU National Spritual Director of the UK.
